The Château Planquette was created from scratch by Didier Michaud, greatly helped by his wife, Catherine. It's a garden! The Cabernet-Sauvignons and Merlots on clayey chalk take advantage of the ploughed soils and manual weeding. We told you it was a garden!

His production has been guaranteed organic by Ecocert for many years now, the manual harvesting respects the grapes. This care and attention continues:- natural fermentation, no chaptalisation, sulphur only if needed, aging between 12 and 24 months according to the needs of each vintage.

The results are there: wines that are full, rich, with fruit that is very deep and pure. It doesn't need to be labelled as Medoc to please us so much... The wine is now sold as "Vin de France".
