Philippe Loquineau, Domaine de La Plante d’Or. The estate, a farm in the 19th century, takes its name from the yellow lupin which once flourished there. |
At its head, Philippe Loquineau came to vines through wine. An exacting taster, he has become a rigorous wine grower: working the soil, grassing, leaf management, ….. An attentive winemaker, he intervenes very seldom, adding no laboratory yeasts, he never chaptalises and adapts the aging to each wine.
3 wines come from his 16 Hectares (38 acres) of clayey
chalk and sandy chalk:
We very much appreciate his work and his wines, richly redolent of their birthplace in the Sologne! |
